Hi Scotty, I have a 2001 Subaru Forester S, which I recently acquired, that suddenly developed a brake fluid leak. The brakes went out quickly, after we had only driven it about 200 miles after buying it. (It was driven in Kentucky, so it has seen a fair share of salt on the road.) I do not see signs of the fluid leaking by the wheels nor under the car, nor by the brake pedal. With the engine off, the fluid goes down very slowly when you pump the brake pedal, but if the engine is on, it goes very fast. I may be wrong, but I think it may be the master cylinder or the brake booster, but I don't know how to determine which. Can you help me?
