Does anyone know if a OBD 1 with a adapter for OBDII ? I accidentally bought a 1 for 2, different socket for 2, the adapter was wrong M+M seller didn't say that on their item, someone mentioned 12 volts on a pin to power up unit.

Any thoughts?

Great video- thanks , I have been a shade tree mechanic for 50 years. Did not think I would be doing this at age 73 but I enjoy repairing the things I can as I don't trust many mechanics. Thanks for the videos.
