Check out this viewer's old Volvo, when they were built like tanks and lasted forever. Long before the days of Yuppie Volvodom that took over the company. When they made solid cars that were actually quite speedy for their size and bulk.

yea, those volvos could last forever, the OLD ones. But I talk more about modern cars and they are junk today, heck the chinese own em now and they are going to only make electric cars in the future

My husband's parents had two 240s, one registered in 1989 and the other registered in 1994. Good, solid cars, never let you down. Since then we've had two mark 1 S40s, a 1999 reg (had a new clutch at just over 100,000 miles) and a 2001 reg (new clutch at just over 100,000 miles), both solid cars. We now have a 2008 V50 with 55,000 miles on it and so far has had a new alternator and new clutch and flywheel. They really don't make them like they used to.
