Scotty, can I use Castrol Transmax Dex III instead of Toyota's own fluid in a 14y Toyota in the power steering?

there are various grades of dextron and mercon. Check the one needed for your vehicle, they are not the same. Same for power steering, various fluids are used in different makes, and hondas should ONLY use honda ps fluid

Is dexron/mercon they sell in auto stores the same stuff as dexron? Prestone sells power steering fluid "for all US cars" or for all Asian cars. Does it even make a difference or is it all marketing?
