Hi Scotty, Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm in Australia. My BMW X3 E83 M57TU2 (2009) gets sticky oil all around inside the bonnet area. Mechanics (even local BMW service shop) seem to have no clue. Harmonic balancer was damaged and had to be replaced due to the oil contamination last year. Mechanics seem to be second guessing starting with the PCV valve (now replaced), front seal (now replaced), and then the turbo. I've bought a central roating assembly of the turbo and am thinking of replacing it. But the car doesn't smoke, it's only under the bonnet engine oil agglomeration that eats the rubber every few months. Oil is also in all the intake. Thanks in advance for advice.
