yo scotty!
I have a mitsubishi that ive been trying to fix for a year, it keeps dying on me and my wife.
I have replaced ignition coil 3 times and a crank p sensor and even broke down and bought a spends y
scanner and to no avail.
it drives for 15 min then dies.
and i recorded with scanner and caught it dying on the 4th record.
the only data i can see changing is in the last few frames of record the fuel system opens before dying.
there are no codes to give me a hint, could there be something i should look for on the recorded scanners data like fluctuation of numbers before it dies?
thanks for all your help over the years.

before i was looking for a problem on the 2.0 mits that had no codes like the fuel pump, now i think the shut off intermittent is the computer, wouldnt that show on the scanner?

check the wiring around where the speakers and amps were installed for shorts or excess power drain. I've seen guys wire em wrong and destroy those Mits VERY weak computers many times

sounds like a short in the power system to the fuel pump, or more likely, a fuel pump just flat wearing out. When it dies, quick pressure test the fuel pump
