@Jackofall idk about more reliable. My cousins own a multi branded auto mall new car dealership. They’ve seen at least one of all the big name manufactures come in with at least one vehicle having catastrophic failure (50k miles or less). Had a 2019 tundra need a new trans where they put the wrong fluid in at factory, also very common in the new gen GM trucks coming in with wrong fluid from factory.

U.S. Pollution standards too strict for diesel polluters. Toyota is a SHREWD Company. They know where to put their $$$. Not in diesel but into gas & electric or combos thereof.
