I have a question about a CVT and when to put it in neutral at a stop. Should I just leave it in drive or put it in neutral if I know I’ll be waiting at a light for a while?

If you are waiting for a longer time, always put it in neutral or in park, leaving it in drive while idling for a long time will overheat the transmission. You don't need to do it like on every light, but if you know, you'll be waiting for 10 minutes or more, then definitely do it
