found this on my renault Scenic 2004 petrol. Not connected but looks like it should be! cant see anything near to it.

any idea what it could be??

it's a wiring connector, could be for a missing oxygen sensor someone removed

It’s inbetween battery and fuse box. A single white wire is connected to it
