What are the Steps in Buying a used car from a Private Party: when do you discuss price?

More, do research, don't buy from fake private owners, selling for a friend, jumped titles. Flippers, only buy from person who's name is on title, I also don't buy unless owner has had car more than two years. Look under hood at fender bolts see if they have factory paint untouched by wrench. Offer way less, you can always go up, u can't go down.

Discuss price last. Go over car thoroughly. Make a list of potential repairs it needs. Only ask price if you decide to buy it. Use your List to haggle down price. If you decide to walk away don't waste their time toying around Re: price.
