Hey Scotty I replaced my lower intermediate steering shaft on my 2009 Camry due to a clunking noise when turning. With the new shaft in place, the clunking noise went away but now I have a light rubbing noise coming from down in the steering rack area. It’s such a light rubbing noise, that it almost sounds like an air hiss and it gets louder when I accelerate. Any ideas what it could be? 2009 Camry 129k miles, automatic transmission.

If it did not make the noise before you could be slightly off on the steering orientation doing all that work I would not worry about it
