This 348,900 mile 1995 Dodge Ram 360 ci sat for a few years and was started a couple months ago. The fucker refused to start and we are takin it to the shop. It has fuel pressure and fresh gas, even put a gallon in (just checked) and has weak spark. Once the truck starts the spark gets stronger and runs fine. When we tried to start it the truck was barely running at 200 rpm and died. We put gas and maf cleaner down the intake and it wouldn’t fire. Pulled the plugs out and they are gapped to spec (plugs and wires replaced a month or 2 before the truck lost brakes and was sitting). It takes a fully charged and healthy battery at least 800 cca for it to fire up Easy, otherwise it won’t start on any used battery. Can someone throw some ideas we about to try a fully charged jump box after the 30+ year old battery charger supppsedly rated at 450 cca in boost mode we used almost blew up and almost started a fire.
