so i have a 1999 Honda CR-V 2.0 I4 4-speed Automatic Miles: 231k so whats been going on is recently i have been having the engine shut off at lights however all the electricals stay on (headlights, Stereo, etc), what i have to do is put it in park then turn the key to start it, it doesn't throw any codes, or CEL, i've noticed that the exhaust sort of has been surging and pulsing every few seconds, while it surges there are no changes in the RPMs, The Catalytic converter is new and is not clogged, when i drive at low speeds, the acceleration is choppy almsot as if the transmission is having issues, however the transmission is rebuilt and shouldn't be a major issue to my current knowledge, the only issues i am currently aware of are that 2 of the 4 ignition wires needs to be replaced, again no CEL, the fuel filter i replaced cause i though it may be a clogged filter, that did nothing, the alternator works fine and the battery voltage is nominal, could this be caused by the spark plug wires, im really lost for words, the suspension ive replaced almost every component in it, but what could cause the engine to just cut out, and whats causing the exhaust to pulse to the point where you can feel it bounce every few seconds are the two problems related?
