Scotty,

Original owner of a 2009, 1.8, 5-Speed Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Matrix). The driveline makes a clicking sound, at random, when turning right and accelerating up to 20 mph in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear.

Manual transmission fluid changed at 65K. CV joints not torn. Sound started at 75K, at temps below 40’ and now at 130K, it does it at all temps.... at random. 75% Chance it will make the noise.

Do you suspect the left outter CV joint or possibly the differential? If the CV joint, wouldn’t it do it all the time, when turning right?

Thank you, Sir.
