Scotty, look, how can you as a mechanic tell whether a car company has improved in reliability? For example, I know that the E90 generation of BMW 335i is known for its problems. But what about the new f30 generation that has replaced them? Do they still have the same issues or is it a whole new set of issues? Plus, does the e90 bmw 328i have the same issues as the 335i? Thanks.

You work on the cars, then report to people how you find them built as they age. BMW is a money making company, making endless money pits with plastic everything on them today. Long time ago, 60 and 70 and 80s they were great cars. But no longer. I don't see them getting better in the long run any time soon either
