Scotty! i have a P0441 and a p0455 code on my scion tc (2006) just got it. The previous owner said he had just replaced the fuel cap about 6 months ago. Can this be a bigger issue? or should i replace it again? how do i check for sure? HELP! :x

an evap solenoid is always a likely suspect - but I'd rap a garbage bag around it with a tight elastic band and see if the fuel cap is the culprit once and for all

@Carquestions say i replace the cap and erase the code, then it comes back, what else could the problem be potentially?

most of the time it is the gas cap (after inspecting the whole system for disconnected hoses)| so try a new cap or find a way to seal the one you have 100% - then disconnect the battery neg terminal for 3 minutes or more
