Scotty, I got a 2000 lesabre that had a wheel squeakin when I wasn't braking. When I tried to jack it up, the metal on that notched part specifically there for jackin up started flaking and breaking off and was kinda rusty. The metal seemed like it was starting to bend instead of lifting, so I stopped tryin to jack it up. Is this car still safe to drive? Or is time to send it to the junkyard?
Don't really care about the squeakin wheel at this point. Thanks

So the rusting, crumbling jack bar or whatever that's called is not important?

Hey, if it stops good and doesn't grind, it's safe. Once grinding starts, it's metal to metal
