Hey Scotty, completely refurbished my 1987 Chev Cav Z24 with 2.8 V6 a few years ago. Have an ongoing problem with it running hot in stop & go traffic, especially in the summer. I replaced everything a few years ago, i.e., antifreeze, thermostat, radiator, hoses, water pump, air conditioner, and the cooling fan...but it still runs hot. I purchased it new in 87, replaced the engine and transmission five years ago, and have had the problem for the last ten years. What can I do fix it? Thanks for your help.
