Scotty,
As it's gotten hotter in the Midwest, I've noticed turning on my air conditioner in my car it takes away power. If it's not on my car runs fine, but if I turn it on right before turning onto a highway, it takes awhile to get up to speed because of the sluggish the ac causes. Do you know what could cause this from a 2002 Chrysler Sebring sedan 2.4L? any recommendations will help please!!!!!

Thanks,
Brian from Indiana

worn out Ac compressors do that all the time, you turn it off, power comes back, compressor is wearing out and dragging too much power. Of course be sure the cooling fans on the radiator work with AC on, cause if they don't, pressure builds up higher and makes compressor drag too
