Hi Scotty,
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus with about 150,000 miles that just had the fuel pump replaced after a check engine code went off. After I got it back the check engine light came back on with a P0460 for fuel level sensor signal range/performance and also P0193 Fuel rail pressure sensor a circuit high. I took it back and they said to replace the PCM. I didn't get the most trustworthy vibe from these mechanics so I decided to take it back without fixing it. Is this the problem?

P.S. The fuel gauge rises after time and the backlight for my instruments went off around the same time as well.

It certainly could be the problem, and odds are it didn't need a new fuel pump or they ruined the computer shorting it out doing that electronic fuel pump swap out.
