Hi Scotty, I recently bought a Toyota Sequoia, 154,000 miles. It has a small on/off switch which is located quite low down below the steering wheel on the right side. It looks almost as if it was installed by the factory but there is no mention of it in handbook so at a loss as to what it actually does and have been unable to contact the previous owner to ask him. Turned it to On position and does not appear to operate anything obvious like the fan or fog lights etc, any ideas? I recall the seller said the FBI owned the vehicle for a year before he bought it from the dealer so maybe something they had installed? Thanks in advance

That is for the entertainment audio to go to your radio.

Thanks. It's not really hidden though, it is quite low down to the right side but you can still easily see it when sat in the driver's seat and it's always in the Off position. Turning On or Off does not seem to affect anything at least nothing obvious to me.

Sounds like it is a kill switch that was installed to prevent vehicle theft. They are usually hidden in inconspicuous places.
