Ok so a family member had asked me to help them change out their fuel pump in a 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 5.4L triton. I was available to help them do it yesterday 1/2/20, we got the car up on jack stands and got the tank dropped out so I had them clean, dry and vacuum up the tank and told them to stop there and don't get ahead of me because that was a good stopping point for a lunch break. I return with lunch and drinks for us but my family member had removed the old fuel pump and installed the new one and had it back up underneath the car and jacked up in place by the time I had returned with lunch so we ate and got it completely reinstalled and everything worked out as it should SO here is the problem during clean up I had the box and the old pump and was taking it to the dumpster and noticed that the new o ring gasket for the fuel pump was still at the bottom of the box in its packaging and had completely overlooked by my family member. So I kept the gasket and didn't mention it to my family member that they had screwed up LOL so what is going to happen to this vehicle without having its gasket.
