Oil Light and Overheating

Oil light comes on when car is first started but goes away in 1 to 3 seconds

Hey Scotty I have a 96 Toyota Starlet reflect. Whenever I start the car the oil light comes on for about 1 to 3 seconds, is this normal and is there anything I can do about it? The oil is right on the full mark.

Also my car often gets very hot even if I haven't been driving it for long. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does the heater doesn't blow hot air. What could be the cause and how could i fix it? I did a coolant flush 2 months ago when I got the car and the coolant is at the correct level.

Also not quite as important but when I start the car the ABS and airbag lights will come on for a few seconds and disappear but I have tested the ABS and it does work, should I be concerned by this?

No. 1-2

Cheers Scotty! I will have a look at the radiator and the thermostat and hopefully I don't have a major problem!

that age, pretty normal, as long as engine does not knock. Try a new thermostat, and if not that do this video . And forget those lights, as long as brakes work, use your seatbelt, always buckle up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evpaTW2WJ5Y&t=129s
