My girlfriend has a 92 camry with 210,000 miles. She says her transmission is acting funny where it won't shift gears normally it revs up to 2-3000 rpms but it's been going up to 4000 and when she lightly touched the throttle it jumped and got up to 20 mph quickley. Is this car junk now? Or is it just an easy fix? Some forums say tps but since I am not familiar with older transmissions I don't want to screw it up worse.

generally no easy fix, needing a tranny rebuild. But, what the heck, remove one quart of tranny fluid and put in one quart of lucas tranny fix additive and PRAY
