That noise can come from a worn bearing on something belt driven. I'd next remove the drive belt(s) one at a time and see if it then quiets down, if not, then I'd look at the timing belt components.

I would replace the oil + filter after 500 miles to get rid of all the sludge and Risolin and use proper grade Mobil 1 sythetic oil. If you still hear the noise, then its either a piston slap or your rods.

yes, some cleaners can work wonders unclogging passageways that have been blocked up. thanks for sharing.

Mine sounded the same and it was my hydraulic lifters. I used Rislone oil additive from Walmart about $4.70 and added the 16 oz and drove a couple of days and no more sound. Rislone cleans the sludge.
