Is it possible to use a Super hydrophobic chemical, such as Ultra-Ever Dry on a car windshield? Might make for an interesting video.

I would not do it I use polish instead and it works great

I'm going to be getting a new windshield soon and would like it to repel as much water as possible. Would I still need to use polish on it or could I just skip that step and apply rain-x?

If I do need to use the polish I assume it would be in the order of cleaning then polish then rain-x?

I also picked up some of those PIAA silicone wiper blades after your video about them.

I may have crossed the line into insanity when it comes to my windshield.
