I posted a question on the holidays so I will try it now. I got an 08 Toyota Corolla LE with 189k miles on it and an automatic transmission. I bought its 2-3 months ago after a very good cold start and a test drive and for a bit it was fine but as of a month ago its been making a clattery noise when its cold but I cant hardly hear anything when it warms up in the winter.

I bought the car for 3500 and put up to 2000 getting it fixed up over the time owning it. How bad is this and how expensive is it to fix?

NOTE: I did change the oil to full synthetic so I dont know if that could cause anything with the bad cold start ups

valve train is worn on engine, period. /either live with it OR get rid of it, engine would need rebuilding and they can run a long time with that noise
