i own a 1999 toyota gt convertible. about 3 years go i had the top replaced. the water drainage under top is destroyed and water is getting into my car. the guy who installed the top used some black junk and it worked for a 2 years but now water is getting into the car. i also think that the drain holes are clogged. water is on the floor in back also when there is a down pour when i back out of my driveway it is like a water faucet was turned on and water pour out from where the top front of the window and the top. this part is no longer available from toyota or as an aftermarket part. now the water is going in the vinyl pouch where the top opens into. also the rear passenger window motor has burned out i think. the window does not go up or down. not sure if the motor has burned out or if there is another problem.

can anyone give me suggestions on this issue. i want to keep this car it has 129,000. i was hit in front fender, need to be painted, leather seats are cracked, needs timing belt and a radiator. needs alot of work. i would love to fix it up, but if i continue to have this water problem this is a major issue. please help me with is issue. i live in pennsylvania in lower bucks county.

realize you're putting more money into it than it's worth. I would move on too

I would move on, hard and expensive stuff to repair. Top shop will charge a ton to pull back off and reseal. Water pump timing belt 750? Fender and paint if it metallic may not match so good.
