I need advice guys. I traded a '19 Corolla LE with a smooth CVT for a '19 Camry L base model with the god awful 8 speed automatic. It started shifting rough right as I left the dealership. I wasn't as well versed on the troubled 8 speed when we got it a month ago. Assumed ALL Toyotas were safe to buy. Took it to the stealership at 750 miles and they updated the software which fixed some of the harsh shifts. It has 2,600 miles on it now and it shifts hard randomly, feels like the torque converter is binding up when you slow down and take off. It'll hesitate when you want to jump out into traffic too. It's back at the stealership now getting looked at. I have a 100k mile warranty on it but we are scared to drive it around as it hesitates randomly in traffic which could be dangerous. Should we expect Toyota to replace the 8 speed? Trade this thing in on a 2020 Corolla? Just getting ideas, suggestions welcome. Thanks in advance!

realize they are not replacing any of those to my knowledge. But take it in, let them fix it, it's their warranty
