I need a little help making a decision. I made a bad move buying a 2017 Chevy spark (10500 miles currently) and want to get something else. I know I will have a lot carrying over but I want something more reliable. Would it be a bad idea to get a used 2016 Toyota corolla LE with 32k miles from the local Toyota dealership? It doesn't have a power train warranty and isn't certified. Or could I get a brand new Hyundai elantra or accent?

Good question. You want "reliable"-- your word-- forget Hyundai for long haul ownership. Nothing personal but Toyota is your boilerplate for longevity. Also, forget Dealership! Why pay c. double what you should? Dealers buy from private-party, then mark-up price c. twice what they paid. Scotty = $aving YOU $$$ by 1/ wise car purchase 2/ DIY repairs. Conclusion: you buy from private-party seller, use your blue book to help you w/ valuation. "Yes" to Corolla --good reason it's best selling car in history of car sales. 2-Links to help you-- let us know what you buy used & stay away from Dealerships and Used Car Dealers unless you want to subsidize their kids' college educations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ux2IZ8hIbqs
