I have a 1981 ford f100 ranger v8 and i'm haveing trouble with the front disc brakes especially the passenger side. they are not turning free. when jacked up you might get one turn when spinning the tire and they tighten up worse when driven and getting hot. I've changed rotors, calibers, shoes, brake lines, and it's still the same. do you have any suggestions? watch your programs all the time . thank youi

If the shoe fits: ''Quoting Scotty fan Philstuf: "I worked at a dealership and 95% (plus) of the driveability issues I ever addressed were from non-OEM parts on tune-ups."

Like you, I have to profess, OEM may SEEM a premium, but those engineers MAY ACTUALLY know what they are doing, designing engines, intakes and computer systems. Cost over time is SO much lower. I have YET to go wrong with OEM ignition parts, fuel parts, or hard items (Camshaft, lifters, plugs, clutch cylinders, emissions, etc).

Please know, that once I got out of my 'teens, I learned the value of OEM, and why "less expensive" is more often "cheap."

Tell it from the mountain, brother!''

Sounds to me like the master cylinder has failed did you use an oem part or go aftermarket

Master cylinder? U did change rubber lines? There is a restriction somewhere that is not allowing fluid to release
