I bought a 2005 green Chevy Impala 3.6 litre V6 for $2500 with 80000 miles the car dealer said “it was owned by a grandma it’s also a one owner”before I bought the car I look at the coolant and it had like a metallic substance in it I was young and dumb and I just wanted a car to get me to college so I bought it, it had really good get up well about a week after I bought it I noticed there was liquid substance in the drivers footwell bu the gas pedal it was raining I thought it was rain getting in or ac leakage. 2 days after that car overheated so I pulled to the side of the road dad brought coolant filled it up and went on my way home. Well it overheated about 5 times in the next week so I replaced thermostat and water pump didn’t fix the problem I found out it was the heater core which is in the dash and to get anyone to do it they were charging me $1500. So I bought the part and then a day after that my grandfather passed away I drove to see him about 200 miles away and blew the head gasket interestingly enough it ran perfectly fine with the head gasket blown for about another 100 miles before quitting I sold the car for $300 that’s a $2500 mistake I never want to make again I found out to never trust anyone at the dealer or private seller

Makes me more angry because it was my dads inheritance that bought me that vehicle and it blew up

Bureau of Motor Vehicles Division can confirm the "One Owner" or debunk it as a cheap Dealer trick, via Title History. Our Gang isn't typically fond of Chevy or any GM products, really.

It has 170000 almost trouble free miles but it’s all highway miles
