Hi Scotty:

My jeep grand cherokee hard to starts when i try to start it only the first attempt, at the seconf attempt the jeep start without problem. Also some times the "gauge" lights turn on and the volmeter go over 14 volts and some times go down to "zero". I think could be ground problem, but I just checked battery terminals, and a ground that is to left battery side (front view) connected to the chasis car. I don't have enough car experience but I love try it.

Thanks a lot for your help !!!!!

have the battery and alternator load tested, auto zones do that free. if they are OK, check wiring from the battery, both positive wiring and ground wiring for loose connections
