Hi Scotty, longtime fan from New Zealand here!
I have a 93 Mitsubishi Galant 1.8 V6 24 valve. it has 265K kms.
Recently it has been smoking a little on cold start up ( blueish). Around town it is fine but after 10-15 mins of motorway driving at around 2K rpm it intermittently smokes (pinging with acceleration) If I floor it above 2.5k rpm smoke disappears. No loss of power it is burning some oil do you think it could be valve seals? Thanks for your help.

old age, valve seals often do that, but also worn piston rings when bluish tint, as that's a bit of metal burning off too
