Hi Scotty! Its me... again... with my 3S-GE 94 celica. Long story short - Misfires, she goes into limp mode, no misfires in limp mode, stays limp, ocasionally going out of it but only when cold. Checked for vacuum leaks with cigar through brake booster - nothing. Changed - Lambda Sensor, PCV Valve, Idle Air Control Valve, Throttle Position Sensor, Ignition Coils, Ignition Module, Spark Plugs, Ignition Leads, Whole Distributor (assembly, cap, rotor), Fuel Injectors, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, ACIS Gasket, Intake Manifold Gasket, Couple hoses that looked like they might be leaking air.
All this only fixed stalling on idle.. i have put ~800 pounds into her (importing parts from japan and arabia (damn japan imports)) and still nothing. I changed intake manifold and ACIS gaskets today. Right now she starts, she was working well for like 20 seconds from cold, suddenly limp mode.. (limp mode might have been pre-followed by one little misfire but i am not sure). I don't think there is anything left that could be done.. I really dont want to scrap her but i dont think there is anything left to do. Half of the engine are brand new parts (except for distributor assembly which i had to buy used from scrapped celica, these are impossible to find) and still nothing. Mechanic told me that she got Code 14 " IGNITION SIGNAL--NO "IGF" (I Got Fire) SIGNAL TO ECU" but that was before i changed mentioned above ignition parts. Maybe she still has it? Maybe its a wire that went wrong that goes to ecu? Sadly i have no idea how to check them. Thank you for all your help, if you have any advice i would really appreciate it.
