Hi Scotty. I own a 2011 KIA Sorrento. I think that I am having head gasket leak problems because I am constantly burning antifreeze, thus causing my engine to overheat after about 15 minutes of normal driving. Why I say 15 minutes? Because that is about how long it takes for me to drive to work in the morning. As soon as I reach my workplace parking lot, my KIA begins to overheat in which my temperature guage starts to shoot above the halfway point and I start seeing white smoke from the burning coolant under my hood. I constantly have to take a 5 gallon container of water to fill up my radiator. I have been going through this for the past month or so, and I am desperate for a final, but affordable. solution to my problem. I obviously don't have $3000+ just lying around to have a mechanic tear my engine apart to replace my head gaskets. In my case, I need a head gasket sealer that is compatible with my aluminium KIA engine. Someone at the auto parts store told me that certain head gasket sealers may work better because I do have an aluminium engine. Do have a specific suggestion for me in terms of which gasket head sealant to use? Thank you.
