Hi Scotty! I'm Ron Liwanag from the Philippines. I own a Nissan Sentra '92 model ECCS converted to carb. My car's a bit old I bought it from a friend and I understand that suddenly, alot of problems started to happen. I slowly try to resolve each of them slowly. I already asked 4 mechanics and still my car isn't in good condition. I want to learn to fix it myself but I haven't got time due to my daytime work. So I let my mechanic do the things without me.

My car's name is Skye. She was diagnosed of the white smoke exhaust. They said that my engine oil is burning and I need to overhaul my engine. So I let them overhaul it and they found out that my timing chain is faulty, I also let them change my timing chain. Now, I heard a loud sound on my engine they said that it is the timing chain in the engine block. Are there separate chains? Now my car's running and there are no smokes but there's an annoying sound that like I'm driving an SUV. It doesn't sound like that before. I can't use my car today coz something happened that it doesn't start. It's like there's something lacking and I can't find it. I don't trust my mechanic after the incident and no plans of coming back. Any tips on what to do?

first, your'mechanics' are pretty much clowns, you rebuild an engine, you do the whole thing,, or generally, you're better off putting in a low mileage used engine. You're stuck with it now after those clowns worked on it. Being that old, I'd drive it till it dropped then put in a used engine
