Hi Scotty , I'm not sure where the first of my problem is ! I have a 1998 Buick regal ls. Ive been dealing with this problem almost a year. I replaced BCM, up and down flow oxygen sensors, now Mas & TCS. I cleaned the EGR valve, I replaced the plug on the Mas. I was told that the throttle body was cleaned but it obvious it wasn't. So I have to do that . Over the year engine light goes on something gets replaced computer get reset, then the light goes back on. Now it idles smoothly at 1000, with the tcs unplugged. When I plug it in it won't start. When running and I plug it in there is no change. Im thinking a relay, but they all look the same, I'm not sure where to start. Also I know I have to clean the throttle body but I think I need an inverted torx bit to remove the MAF. I'm guessing thats what it's called so I'm sending a picture of it. I'm so frustrated with this and mechanics give up on me! How long can I run it without the TPS connected? Please help me, any thoughts at all are welcome. I'm disabled and struggling I need this car , it only has 118,000 on it, I'm tired of being charged and not fixing my problem. Please help! Kimmyj

It's running ok but hesitates a lot. What specifically should I replace? I have a new Mas, and my mistake the TPS has not been replaced it was the idle air control. When the idle air control is plugged in it won't start. Unplugged it's sluggish but runs, using a lot of gas. Any thoughts for what next I could try?

on those, often they need a new throttle assembly. but you can see how long it runs with it disconnected though it will not run perfectly
