Hi Scotty,
I’m interested in purchasing a CPO Lexus IS 300 (3.5 L V6). I tend to keep my cars for a long time (8+ yrs) and I appreciate all of your videos on toyota/Lexus reliability.

The issue is that I can’t find what I want in my state of CA. These last couple of yrs Lexus has made the IS in a turbo charged 4 cylinder. You made a video on the V6’s lasting longer. I want a specific color combo w/the blind spot monitoring.

A few other states have the exact car I want. Is it wise to have my local Lexus dealership “buy” the car from an East coast dealership and have it transported to Southern CA? Of course I’ll inspect and test drive the car once it arrives, but I’m worried about purchasing a CPO car from out of state that’s been exposed to snow/salted roads.
