Hi Scotty I'm a new driver have my permit but my parents won't teach me how to drive. Also none of my friends wants to do it. I'm trying to avoid driving school since it's expensive but do you think they're effective or should I just beg one of my friend to teach me?

If you only have a learner's permit, really it ought to be your parents teaching you, as they'll have the insurance coverage needed in case of a serious accident. If they refuse, then I'd see if a relative would be willing to help, but whatever you choose to do, talk to your parents and try to find out why they don't want to teach you? Seems odd to me, really...

Yeah. The firehouse of just about any town is full of mentors. They're a different breed of cat and thank God for 'em.

he means the building where the firemen reside. They are often great guys, one time my motorycle blew up outside Toronto and the firemen let me store it in their firehouse and I picked it up with a truck a couple days later.
