Hi Scotty
I have question my 2004 ford ranger 3.0 v6 sometimes maybe once or twice a months misfires and when i hook up obd2 scanner it shows p0304 which is cylinder 4 i tried new oem motorcraft spark plugs and spark plugs wire i think that didnt help now i tried lucas injector cleaner to maybe clean the injectors
please can you explains what are the symptomes of misfire on ford ranger

let me see if the lucas would help then if not i would try swapping injectors and then compression test and coils

IF spark plugs and wires haven't helped, then could try swapping the #4 fuel injector to another cylinder and see if the misfire moves. Otherwise next steps are to check compression and the wiring to the #4 injector. Then the coil assembly.
