Hi Scotty.
I have a Suzuki Swift 2008, and the alternator doesn't work.
So I went to Suzuki part shop and found the original cost about $400, and I went to another part shop and found the same but made in Malaysia, and it cost about $90
So the question is which one should I buy? and is it ok to buy the $90 one?
One of my friends suggested to take the alternator and fix it because it cost less.
And I have a bit of a financial problem, So I want a solution that last at least 2 years.

I watched the movie "weiner dog", it was hilarious. Go ahead and buy the cheap one IF it has a good guarantee. Or see what auto zone can get you one for, they give lifetime warranties
