Hi Scotty, I have a 2019 Kia Sedona 50,000KM now that cold weather has hit I can drive and watch the temperature gauge drop when the engine temp drops I loose heat as well. Mechanic doesn’t know what is going on neither does ktech (Kia engineers) they are going to replace the thermostat, however it is an electronic thermostat, they say that it should be throwing a code if not functioning correctly.

I haven’t a clue what’s going on neither do they, I can drive for an hour pull over, pop the hood and grab the top rad hose it is usually hot, the bottom rad hose is always just as cold as it is outside.

I have included 2 pictures one showing the engine temp at 50,000KM and the other 40 KM later (this was constant driving, not stop and go)
