Hi Scotty,
I have a 2015 Ecoboost Mustang that is making a noise in the front of engine. I have taken it to a good machanic and they can find the problem. They checked the timing chain, lifters, cam phaser and can't seem to find the problem. it sounds like the car in this video. https://youtu.be/iuYzoVS6bgI Please help if you can

Yes and I took it to them they checked out all the above and said everything is working but i still have the nosie. I am going to take it on 3 long trips to see if that helps. i will let you know if anything changes. I really like your site, you put a person who knows nothing about cars at ease. thanks for listening!

It should still be under warranty, shouldn't it?

take off the fan belts and run it a short time and pray the noise goes away, showing it's something a belt drives. If the noise remains, it's internal to the engine and that gets expensive fast on an ecoboost engine. In that case, a mechanic will need to analyze it with his sound instruments and figure out which internal part is worn.
