I have a 2013 Subaru Impreza base model with a CVT and 20,000 miles on it. I recall you have mentioned that Subaru CVT's are weak. So I am thinking of replacing all the CVT fluid now with Pentosin 1120107 CVT 1 Transmission Fluid, which is a full synthetic fluid. Or should I wait until 30K miles and do it every 30K miles thereafter? Also the owner's manual says, " The CVT filter is a maintenance free part and does not need to be replaced unless it is damaged". Do you agree or should I replace it anyway?
