Hi Scotty, I have a 2008 Lexus ES 350 with 114,000 miles on it. Yesterday the VSC warning and check engine light came on temporarily. I checked and noticed a slow fluid leak, dripping approximately between the front wheels. I took it to my indie mechanic. He hasn't identified the source of the leak yet, but thinks it needs to have the automatic transmission fluid flushed and replaced. He doesn't have the specialized tools to do the job, so recommends I take it to a Lexus dealer. I generally avoid the Lexus dealer except for free recall work because of their tendency to upsell. Any caveats or suggestions? Thanks.
