Hi Scotty I have a 2008 Ford Mustang. I cranked it up the other day and it ran for 10 minutes and cut off and then would not crank back up. I was turning the key to the on position and could not hear the fuel pump engage so I figured it had went out with 174,000 miles. So change the fuel filter and the fuel pump and then still did not hear it engage so investigated it further come to find out there was a fuel pump power module in the trunk above the spare tire. It was corroded and rusted and underneath where the spare tire was there was a puddle of water from where my convertible top had been leaking into the trunk. Replaced the fuel pump power module and sprayed the electrical connector with electronic parts cleaner and let it dry out. Cranked it up reset the computer and it fired right up. Drove it for a day and a half and it stalled at a red light and didn't want to crank back up. It will crank if it has been sitting for a while but then it was idle rough and die. Do you know what this could be? I love watching your channel you have a lot of experience and good advice to give! I'm hoping you can help me out with this! Thank you very much Scotty!
