Hi Scotty, I have a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country 3.8L. Just replaced plugs, wires, coil pack, all new...Had #3 Misfire code before...now clear. Engine idles semi-smooth in Park, but chugs in Drive, holding the brake and increasing rpm's up to about 1500...acts like 1 cylinder is not firing. Did smoke test on vacuum system and had to replace oil cap and EGR valve with no other smoke leaks. After doing that, idle is smooth as glass in Park at 850 rpms with A/C turned off. The rpms drop to around 650 in Drive but again still chugs while holding the brake and revving up to 1500 rpms. Drives with same symptoms...I checked also for vacuum leaks with propane ( I know...dangerous) all around hoses and intake as well as the brake power booster. No indication at all of rpm increase at idle. This all started all of a sudden, AFTER having someone replace the plugs, wires and coil pack. He broke 4 spark plug insulators...of which I had to replace them again myself. I get good spark on all wires when pulling them off the coil pack.

What am I missing? This is driving me nuts!!! Help!!! Thank you for any suggestions!
