Hi Scotty I have a 2000 Honda Accord V6 LX with 275,000 miles on it I'm having trouble with it failing to start up on a warm startup if I've made multiple stops in town and shut the car down. It will misfires itself off and wont start till its sat for about an hour. It shows the code for random cylinder misfire. Also its lost about 5 mpg during this time. I've done changed the coolant temp sensor, spark plugs and coil boots. I'm about ready to give up on this car. Any ideas of what it can be?

First thing I'd try, an inexpensive fix that costs nearly nothing. R&R Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Don't go all El Cheapo on it. DIY w/ OEM Honda only part.

I would not put more than 200 more in repairs, it's old and has high miles. Time to move up.
