Hi Scotty. I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder for which I am experiencing some brake issues. After driving for about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour I see the console(/instrument panel) brake light (and ABS light although I do not have ABS) illuminated, then pedal would feel tough to press as if i packed bricks behind it, but after some pumping it loosened up some. Earlier this year it was accompanied by rear drum brakes only were binding and running quite hot and occurs earlier if I end up in traffic with frequent starts and stops. I changed pistons and springs on rear wheels (flushed and replaced new brake fluid) and noticed the symptoms of the brake light coming on was less frequent, however now there are times when pedal is soft and I have to pump it and other times when it seems to be getting tough. There are no leaks and I am not losing brake fluid in the reservoir. I tried the brake pedal test for the Booster but it seems not to indicate there is an issue with it. Faulty Master cylinder and possibly check valve? Seems to me whenever fluid gets hot it is affecting something, but not sure.

either booster is bad, or abs system has a problem. My bets the booster
